Description:

The SUU Marketing Communication Office is seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our fun and fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, work independently and in a team, and the ability to write and create current, relevant content for social media channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get hands-on experience while developing their communication skills.

Job responsibilities:

  • Create content for various SUU social media channels.
  • Monitor specific social media channels.
  • Assist with building a content strategy.
  • Evaluate analytics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Create and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff and the community.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to quality.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize high-level projects in a deadline driven environment.
  • Proactive self-starter.
  • Experience with video production is a plus.
